1. Reservation & Booking

Booking Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email or message from our resort or through our authorized booking partners (Agoda, Airbnb, TripAdvisor, Expedia).

Booking Information

Guests must provide accurate information when making a reservation, including full names of all guests, contact details, and any special requirements.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in time: 12:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 2:00 PM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
  • Valid government-issued ID is required at check-in
  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age

3. Payment Terms

  • Room rates are quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP)
  • A deposit may be required to secure your reservation
  • Full payment is due upon check-in unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept cash and major credit cards
  • For bookings through third-party platforms, their payment terms apply

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival: Full refund of deposit
  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before arrival: 50% of deposit forfeited
  • Cancellations made less than 3 days before arrival: Full deposit forfeited
  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the first night
  • For bookings through Agoda, Airbnb, or other platforms, their cancellation policies apply

5. Room Policies

  • Maximum occupancy must be observed as per room type
  • Additional guests may be accommodated for an extra fee, subject to availability
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and enclosed areas
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to room property or furnishings
  • Lost keys or access cards will incur a replacement fee

6. Resort Rules & Conduct

  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Swimming in the beach area is at your own risk
  • Children must be supervised by adults at all times
  • Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangement is made
  • The resort reserves the right to refuse service or terminate stays for disruptive behavior
  • Outside food and beverages may be subject to corkage fees

7. Events & Special Occasions

For weddings, celebrations, and special events at Baluarte de Argao:

  • A separate event agreement and deposit are required
  • Event bookings must be made at least 30 days in advance
  • Guest list must be finalized 7 days before the event
  • The resort reserves the right to limit noise levels after 10:00 PM
  • Clean-up fees may apply for events

8. Liability

  • The resort is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Guests swim and engage in beach activities at their own risk
  • The resort is not liable for injuries resulting from guest negligence
  • We recommend travel insurance for all guests

9. Force Majeure

The resort shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, typhoons, government restrictions, pandemics, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule or provide alternatives.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cebu, Philippines.

12. Changes to Terms

Baluarte de Argao Beach Resort reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
